The 2017 EU-US Frontiers of Engineering symposium will be held November 16-18 at the University of California in Davis, California.
About 60 outstanding engineers under the age of 45 will meet for an intensive 2-1/2 day symposium to discuss cutting-edge developments in four areas. The event facilitates international and cross-disciplinary research collaboration, promotes the transfer of new techniques and approaches across disparate engineering fields, and encourages the creation of a transatlantic network of world-class engineers.

Enzyme Engineering XXIV

Co-chaired by Pierre Monsan, Toulouse White Biotechnology, member of the NATF, and Magali Remaud-Simeon, LISBP-INSA, University of Toulouse, the Enzyme Engineering Conferences were initiated in 1971 and have become the leading international forum for the discussion of new developments in enzyme technology and biocatalysis, putting an emphasis on emerging technologies and focusing on both the fundamental and practical aspects. The proposed scope and thrust of the conference will continue this tradition and will additionally focus on new developments in the field. This conference series typically draws international participation both from industry and academia.

The 30th Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers

The 30th Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers — ASE 2017 — will take place at Cité de l’espace in Toulouse from october 16 to 20, 2017 under the high patronage of CNES (National Centre for Space Studies).

Claudie Haigneré, Astronaut, advisor to the Director-General of the European Space Agency (ESA) and member of the Academy of Technologies will participate in this event.
