Erol Gelenbe: cyber attacks: we need an international legislation

A large-scale cyber attack on Tuesday, June 27 targeted large companies and public services in several countries,  in Russia, Ukraine, but also in Denmark, France, Norway, the Netherlands and Great Britain, where the parliament was targeted.

Erol Gelenbe, Professor at the Imperial College, member of the National Academy of Technologies of France, interviewed by the BBC on 28 June, believes that this phenomenon will continue, without the existence of an international legislation or of an independent organization - such as the international disarmament agency or the convention from Geneva, or an international digital agency - that would allow governments to regulate these practices.
