The 30th Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers — ASE 2017 — will take place at Cité de l’espace in Toulouse from october 16 to 20, 2017 under the high patronage of CNES (National Centre for Space Studies).
This exceptional event will bring together 100 astronauts from all over the world for a week of professional meetings and exchanges with schoolchildren, students, the Space industry and the general public.
Claudie Haigneré, Astronaut, advisor to the Director-General of the European Space Agency (ESA) and member of the Academy of Technologies will participate in this event.
Since 1985, the Planetary Congress of the Association of Space Explorers is organised yearly by (ASE) and national institutions in the host country.
The Congress is a forum where astronauts can share their contribution to advances in Space exploration, encourage international collaboration and promote the benefits of such exploration as widely as possible.
Toulouse, European Space capital, and Cité de l’espace, the European reference for Space science and culture for the general public, share the same values for promoting broad dissemination of knowledge.
